Biomedical Science Tower. 12th Floor Renovations (LEED Gold, 2013)

Renovation of the Thomas E. Starzl Biomedical Science Tower’s 12th floor, located at 200 Lothrop Street on the University of Pittsburgh’s main campus, included upgrades and changes to laboratory space for the Vascular Medicine Institute and the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care Medicine. The Biomedical Science Tower as a whole house office and laboratories for 21 departments and programs, including an entire floor of laboratories devoted to the research of the Thomas E. Starzl Transplantation Institute.

The 44,600 square feet received a LEED Gold designation in 2013.
