  • 1-on-1 peer tutoring for all Pitt students. You’ll meet 1-on-1with a student who has taken the course you’re taking now; peer tutors offer content support and study strategies to help you do your best.  Courses available for tutoring.
  • Academic Coaching:  Resources for students in the Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences or the College of General Studies.  Also, talk to fellow students on how to achieve academic success!
  • Ask the Library questions about the Library or if you need research help! Questions can be asked via email, chat, in person, or over the phone.
  • Course grading options, withdrawal info, & more.
  • Course repeating info.
  • Study skills tools & resources: Time management help, test taking strategies, studying tips, YouTube educational videos, and more resources to help you learn to study better.
  • Textbook Course Reserves: Check out course readings if they made available by the course’s instructor. This page provides instructions and links for discovering if your class text is on course reserve and how to access it.
  • The Knowledge Drop: A library of short video tutorials created by Pitt students to explain core concepts on a variety of subjects.
  • Tutoring & Academic Help: Resources ranging from math assistance to writing help on the Pittsburgh, Bradford, and Johnstown campuses.

Platform for first-generation college students and/or low-income students, bringing together students in need of support and creating a comfortable environment for communication among students with similar life experiences.

TRIO Student Support Services

Program for first-generation, income-eligible, and/or disabled students enrolled at Pitt that provides opportunities ranging from mentorship and advising to free cultural and social events!
