  • Pitt Information Technology: For Pitt community members to learn about IT resources, virtual labs, software, and so much more.
  • Hillman Library Equipment Room: Pitt students can borrow cameras, lighting equipment, and speakers from the Hillman Library Ground Floor Service Desk for free. More advanced camera, lighting, and audio equipment available to students enrolled in specific classes. 
  • Pitt’s Digital Inclusion Center: Offers digital literacy classes (including Python) to K-12 students and adult learners.  Located in the Hill District, the Center does not require any prior programming experience.
  • LevelUp412: Digital Inclusion Center alumni can receive a free laptop and 1 year of internet access (in addition to program access). LevelUp412 strives to provide equitable, tech-centered educational opportunities to all those, regardless of age, interested in tech industry careers, ensuring full access to the mentorship, tools, and resources necessary to their success. It is a free service. 
  • Community Internet Solutions: Creating a community-based, non-profit Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP) is to end Pittsburgh’s digital divide by providing Internet to the people who need it most. No cost to the user, the first phase provides residential Internet access in Coraopolis, Homewood and New Kensington-Arnold.
