Farmers Market at Pitt 🌱

Students, faculty, staff, and community members are welcome find fresh ingredients, food, and flowers provided by local farmers and makers at the Farmers Market at Pitt!

Grab fresh produce, baked goods, coffee, ice cream, and a quick lunch! Each vendor sells unique, fresh food items which can be purchased with cash, card, Dining Dollars, Pitt Cash / Lunch Money, Panther Funds, cash, credit, and debit. Rain or shine!

Don’t forget to bring your reusable bag! All Pitt Farmer’s Markets aspire to be zero-waste, working closely with vendors to ensure this mission. Vendors are required to serve meals in compostable containers, prohibited from using disposable single-use plastic bags, and all leftover food that cannot be reused is recovered for food donation by the Food Recovery Heroes.

Composting drop-off service is available to the public. Attendees are welcome to bring compostable items from their dorm room, office, or home to the market to drop-off at a staffed compost drop-off station. Learn more about what is accepted in campus compost here.
