Join us for the first Pitt Green Speakeasy of 2022 with Sundaa Bridgett-Jones, Managing Director of Policy and Coalitions, Communications, Policy and Advocacy, The Rockefeller Foundation.  Ms. Bridgett-Jones will be talking about “Changing Energy for Good: Scaling an Equitable Energy Transition with the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet.”

Launched at COP26, the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet is made up of philanthropic, multilateral and development finance institution and government partners committed to accelerating and scaling equitable energy transitions in low-and middle-income countries. In this talk, Sundaa Bridgett-Jones, Chief Partnerships & Advocacy Officer, will share how the alliance aims to unlock USD 100 billion in public and private capital and tackle three profound human problems simultaneously: (1) Access – reaching one billion people with reliable, renewable energy; (2) Climate – avoiding and averting four billion tons of carbon emissions; and (3) Jobs – building an on-ramp to opportunity by creating, enabling, or improving 150 million jobs.
