Join us for a pollinator tour and talk to celebrate National Pollinator Week! We will start by touring a Pitt pollinator garden on campus to learn more about pollinator-friendly plants and practices. We will then head to The Porch at Schenley Plaza for a talk about an important pollinator, honey bees, by guest speaker Randy from Bee Boy PGH. Randy manages the hives located on top of The Porch and will talk about why the honey bees are up there, what they do, and how he cares for them. Participants will have the option to tour the rooftop gardens and beehives with staff from the Porch Restaurant.
