
The Mascaro Center for Sustainable Innovation is pleased to announce that the application is now open for our Sustainability Summer Research Program. This program is open to ALL Pitt undergraduate and master's level students interested in gaining hands-on experiences related to the broad topic of sustainability.
For the first time, in collaboration with partner centers and initiatives, we are offering four thematic research cohorts, which will create opportunities to connect and collaborate with unique networks over the summer. These include:
- MCSI Open Call for Sustainability Research
- Pittsburgh Water Collaboratory
- Responsible Data Science & The Hub for AI and Data Science Leadership
- Office of Sustainability in the Health Sciences – Sustainable Healthcare

Frederick Honors College Brackenridge Sustainability Scholars

Payment: $4,000 (+$500 for sustainability cohort)
The David C. Frederick Honors College (FHC) summer research fellowships support undergraduate students conducting an independent research or creative project with the guidance of one or more mentors in their field. Applicants may propose any form of research, scholarship, or creative work that is appropriate to the project’s discipline. Applicants have the option to request consideration for four specialty programs: sustainability, community-engagement, creative arts, and health sciences.
