Pitt Reaches 100 Total EV Charging Ports on the Pittsburgh Campus

Pitt is charging ahead on a key sustainability goal: expanding access to electric vehicle chargers. Last month the University reached 100 total EV charging ports on the Pittsburgh campus, after adding 22 new ports this fiscal year at Fifth and Halket, BioForge and the Information Sciences Building. The additions count toward a Pitt Sustainability Plan goal of installing 50 new charging plugs in existing facilities between 2025 and 2030, and Pitt has already installed 20, putting it nearly halfway to the target with several years to spare.
