Rob de Cortie serves as a Center Administrator at the School of Pharmacy, working within a designated "Sustainable Oak" Green Office. He supports six pharmaceutical research labs at the Center of Pharmacogenetics, where he successfully spearheaded the initiative to lead all labs to "Sustainable Oak" Green Lab status.
Rob holds a Master’s degree in Communications from Utrecht University, studied Journalism & Mass Communications at the A.Q. Miller School of Media and Communication at Kansas State University, and earned a Master of Public Policy and Management (MPPM) from the University of Pittsburgh in 2025.
An active member of the Pitt community, he sits on several governing bodies related to sustainability, including Staff Council, the Active Mobility Committee, and the Steering Committee for the Office of Sustainability in the Health Sciences. He also completed the Sustainability Certificate in 2025 and currently serves as a Green Ambassador for the University.
