Spring break is the perfect time to de-clutter your workspace! Bring unwanted items, equipment, medical supplies, and plants to the O’Hara Student Center. If you like, leave with a useful item someone else left behind!

Pitt Clean & Swap 2022

March 9 & 10  |  9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
O’Hara Student Center

Participants are invited to bring unwanted items to donate, including office supplies, electronics, furniture, and more.
Pitt departments can also take desired items back to their workspaces.  

All donated items will find new homes with other Pitt departments, be handled by Pitt Surplus, and/or local nonprofits, OR be recycled or disposed of properly (i.e., electronics).  

Volunteers will help people drop off items and/or with temporary parking. 

The event will run from 9 AM to 3 PM on both days. 

We will NOT be accepting chemicals. If you have unwanted chemicals. please use EH&S’s free Chemical Redistribution Program.

• Notebooks and Folders
• Pencils, pens, dry erase markers
• Copy paper
• Desk chairs
• Filler paper
• printers

Examples of Accepted Medical Supplies:

• Blood pressure monitors
• Liquid nutrition that is not expired (ex. Boost or Ensure)
• Orthopedic and prosthetic items
• Ostomy supplies
• Syringes (with and without needles) in original packaging
• Wound care supplies (bandages, gauze, etc.)
