Welcoming Pitt’s First Millennium Fellowship Cohort (Fall 2019)
Welcome to the University of Pittsburgh’s first cohort of Millennium Fellows, focused on the Sustainable Development Goals!
In Fall 2019, the University of Pittsburgh welcomes its first ever cohort of Millennium Fellows. These 14 undergraduate students were selected for the Millennium Fellowship, a program that convenes, challenges, and celebrates student leadership for the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
This robust global network is coordinated by United Nations Academic Impact and MCN. Over 7,000 young leaders on 1,209 campuses in 135 nations applied for the Class of 2019. Fourteen undergraduate students from the University of Pittsburgh were selected — and are working together in Fall 2019. Congratulations to:

In February 2019, the University became a founding member of the U.S. Chapter of the United Nations Sustainable Solutions Network and has a wide variety of stewardship, exploration, community, and culture efforts supporting SDG work on campus, through research, and globally.
