Amanda Jones is the Executive Assistant to the Provost in the Office of the Provost at the University of Pittsburgh.
She is a founding member of the Office of the Provost (OTP) Sustainability Committee. Since it’s creation in 2020, this committee has driven sustainable initiatives in the OTP including: office composting, sustainable purchasing, and green events. The committee publishes internal sustainability-focused newsletters and has helped the OTP grow from seed to sapling as a Pitt Designated Green Office.
Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Penn State Behrend and a Pitt Sustainability Professional Certificate.
