Nick Goodfellow is the Sustainability Manager for Business, Hospitality, & Auxiliary Services (BHAS) at the University of Pittsburgh, where he supports various sustainability efforts across the department in Dining, Hospitality, Fleet, Housing, Logistics, Mobility, & Retail Stores. Nick supervises the Pitt EcoReps student sustainability team.

Nick is a member of several campus committees, including as a Steering Committee member of the Chancellor’s Advisory Council on Sustainability, the Active Mobility Committee, and leads the BHAS Sustainability Committee.

Prior to working in Pitt BHAS, Nick spent three years as Sustainability Coordinator for Pitt Dining by Sodexo, where he expanded local & sustainable sourcing, plant-forward dining, reuse programs, food recovery, and food waste diversion programs.

Nick has a BA in Communications and Urban Studies (’15) and a Master of Public Policy & Management (’24), both from the University of Pittsburgh. Nick is a League Cycling Instructor, occasionally teaching bike classes at Pitt, and holds LEED Green Associate and TRUE Advisor credentials. Nick is also a graduate of Leadership Pittsburgh’s Leadership Development Initiative.

Originally from Washington, DC, Nick worked for five years in the music industry as a tour manager for projects in the U.S. and Europe.

Nick is a 2017 Pitt Sustainability Award Winner (Staff).
