Did you know the Pitt Sustainability team provides in-course opportunities for first-year students to learn about Pitt’s sustainability offerings?
Every semester, the Mascaro Center for Sustainable Innovation offers 15-minute presentations, live or on video, to first-year and major-specific seminars about the University’s full range of campus sustainability initiatives — and how students can get involved in sustainability through academics, student organizations, on-campus, via community service, and more.
If you are a course instructor interested in exposing your students to sustainability, email Savannah Denlinger for more information. The presentation is designed for first-year students, but can be adapted to any level.
