Pitt Earns First Times Higher Education Impact Ranking

The Impact Rankings logoThe University of Pittsburgh was again named to Times Higher Education's Sustainability Impact Rankings, improving its position on the 2026 list, released on June 23. The rankings measure how institutions worldwide advance sustainability in line with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals.

Pitt first ranked on the list in 2024, landing in the 401-600 category. Among the 1,600-plus universities from 116 countries and territories included in the 2026 list, Pitt moved up to the 301-400 category overall.
