As the Sustainability Manager in Planning, Design, & Construction, Annie Shvach helps ensure that sustainability is integrated into the University of Pittsburgh’s buildings and campuses.
Annie spent the last two years as the ESG & Charitable Giving Associate at Duquesne Light Company. She managed Duquesne Light’s internal green team, grant, and volunteerism program. Annie also previously worked at Phipps Conservatory & Botanical Gardens as a Climate Toolkit Coordinator.; she helped expand the Climate Toolkit which is an international collaboration for museums, gardens, and zoos who want to learn how to aggressively address climate change within their own institutions.
Annie holds a Bachelor’s in Sustainability focusing on Energy Resources and Urban Systems from Chatham University.
