As the Senior Manager of Energy & Utilities, Evan Petrack responsibly procures all utilities for the University of Pittsburgh, while simultaneously focusing on improving building performance of existing Pitt buildings via energy and water use efficiency and conservation projects.
Evan Petrack was previously Business Development Manager at Greenskies Renewable Energy, where he specialized in rooftop and ground mount solar projects for national accounts and MUSH clients. Additional past experience includes leading the sustainability efforts for a commercial real estate firm and consulting on water+energy efficiency projects across the US and territories.
Evan is a boomerang Pittsburgher, and is now a proud downtown resident after 10 years in the DC and Baltimore area. He holds a Bachelor’s in Environmental Studies from Gettysburg College, where he got his start in buildings as the sustainability intern for the facilities department. Do great work!
