Jemima E. Ohwobete is a Ph.D. candidate in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh, focused on understanding how everyday behaviors and environmental conditions shape indoor air and water quality. Her research examines how consumer choices and building environments influence exposure risks, with the goal of creating healthier homes and communities. In addition to her academic work, Jemima collaborates with industry partners, including S&B USA, where she contributes to public–private partnership initiatives and workforce development programs that connect engineering practice, infrastructure delivery, and empathetic manegement. She is passionate about science communication and advancing sustainable solutions through collaboration between academia, industry, and community stakeholders.
