Savannah Denlinger is the Academic Sustainability Programs Manager for the Mascaro Center for Sustainable Innovation (MCSI). In this role, Savannah helps implement, enhance, and elevate MCSI and cross-campus sustainability academic programming including the Undergraduate Certificate in Sustainability, the Sustainability Transcript of Distinction, the Master’s of Sustainable Engineering, and first-year sustainability presentations and other student seminars.
Savannah previously taught chemistry at Bishop Canevin High School and math and science at City Charter High School; she also worked as an AmeriCorps member and Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy summer camp counselor.
Savannah holds a bachelor’s in Environmental Science from Allegheny College and a master’s in Sustainable Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. When she was a Pitt student, Savannah worked as an Aquaponics and Environmental Education Intern with the Oasis Project at the Bible Center Church in Homewood. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Secondary Education from Carlow University.
