Edible gardens are a small but tangible expression of Pitt's commitment to sustainability. Growing food on campus connects students, staff, and community members to where their food comes from while supporting local food security and reducing environmental impact.
We are dedicated to ensuring every Pitt community member has access to a balanced and nutritious diet. Multiple programs are supported—including the Pitt Pantry, food lockers, and SNAP resources—to combat food insecurity.
