Plastic Bags & Films

Pitt does not offer on-campus recycling for plastic bags or films.

However, most local grocery stores (including Giant Eagle) have public plastic bag and film collection. Many grocerty store location collection bins (pictured) accept:

• Plastic bags
• Air pillows
• Bubble wrap
• Plastic wrap
• Plastic shipping envelopes

Generally, these plastics find their next life as eco-friendly exterior decking materials.
