Pitt Green Workshop: Sustainable Event Planning

Pitt’s campus is host to hundreds of events every year, from panels and postering sessions, to performances, to graduation ceremonies and more. If you work at Pitt, you likely have a hand in the planning or execution one or more of these events, and your choices can make your event more sustainable, from waste reduction and diversion, to accessibility, to audience education.

Join the Office of Sustainability for this workshop detailing how to plan a sustainable event for different audiences, locations, and scales. The two-hour session will include an hour dedicated to workshopping your own upcoming events with your peers.
