Bike to Campus Week

Join Pitt, CMU, BikePgh, and others in celebrating Bike to Campus Week! This 4th annual Bike to Campus celebration will include activities meant to welcome new and experiences riders with tips and tricks for biking in Pittsburgh.

Pittsburgh’s universities are working together to increase active transportation and reduce GHG emissions.  Pitt is enhancing its campus bike culture, recently becoming a Silver Bike Friendly University and being named BikePGH’s 2021 Organization of the Year. Pitt is also in its 4th year of a partnership with Pittsburgh’s bike share (recently rebarnded POGOH), on which all Pitt students employees and students can have free, unlimited 30-minute bike rides.

Bike to Campus activities will feature expertise from bike commuters, group ride leaders, and League Certified Instructors.  If you’re new to biking, this week will provide you with with the knowledge and skills to take to the streets!
