2022-23 Research Annual Report, Sustainability Section

The University of Pittsburgh’s 2022-23 Annual Report of Research was recently published by the Office of the Senior Vice Chancellor for Research. The University of Pittsburgh is currently ranked third in National Institute of Health (NIH) funding cementing us as one of the premier research institutions in the country.

A portion of this report is dedicated to highlighting the University’s research related to advancing sustainability efforts. Some research highlights include; innovative concrete systems, microchips for monarch butterfly tracking, circular economy, and evolution of life in ocean depths.
