Pitt's chapter of Strong Women, Strong Girls (SWSG) supports the national nonprofit organization focused on empowering women and girls through intergenerational mentoring. Pitt college women mentor girls in third, fourth, and fifth grades throughout the Pittsburgh region once a week -- and also have the opportunity to connect with professional women as their own mentors.
