Who planted the garden?
Conservation Club at Pitt is a student organization with the mission “to enhance conservation efforts on campus through building connections between Pitt’s community and our environment”. The club has a focus on hands-on work, with the current projects of planting pollinator gardens, building bee houses, and mitigating lantern flies. Conservation Club’s first official project involved rejuvenating this pollinator garden outside of Posvar. With $1700 of funding, they planned and planted the Posvar Pollinator Garden on Schenley.
