Katie Maietta

Katie provides administrative leadership and oversees the planning and operational management of the Office of Medical Education, Standardized Patient Program, and the undergraduate medical education program.  Administrative functions include human resources, facilities management and development, budgetary management, project management, strategic planning and governance, regulatory adherence, curriculum management, and overall organization of instructional support and delivery, including educational technology.  Katie is a member of the Association of American Medical Colleges Curriculum Committee, Group on Institutional Planning, and Group on Business Affairs.

Katie completed the Sustainability Professional Certificate through the Faculty and Staff Development Program, and has led her office towards a Green Office designation.  She has a strong focus on supporting local and diverse businesses.
