Lucy Klug

Lucy Klug is the University of Pittsburgh’s Mobility Specialist in Parking, Transportation, & Services. In this role, Lucy works on a broad range of mobility initiatives that highlight sustainable transportation and the relationship between the Pitt community, local and national organizations, and our multi-modal transportation goals. She provides up-to-date opportunities and resources for all mobility options on campus and throughout our region including walking, biking, transit, carpooling, vanpooling, and more.

Prior to her current position, Lucy served as a Sustainability Specialist for Tacoma, Washington’s Office of Environmental Policy and Sustainability with AmeriCorps. She developed programs and tracked progress for the city’s 2030 Climate Action Plan, while educating community groups on climate impacts and goals. She is excited to be back in Pittsburgh and continue fueling her passion for equitable mobility and urban sustainability. In her free time, she loves to cycle and crochet.

Lucy holds a BA in Environmental Studies, Sustainability Certificate, and Sustainability Transcript Distinction from the University of Pittsburgh. While a Pitt undergraduate, Lucy was recognized as a 2022 Pitt Sustainability Student Champion.  She was dedicated to sustainability on campus through involvement with Epsilon Eta (University’s environmental honors fraternity) and a sustainability internship with the Mascaro Center for Sustainable Innovation, where she led sustainability presentations to first-year students.
